I've been meaning to post this up on the last day of school, but I had to ponder about the length of this post. Either ways, I've decided to post it up. Happy reading. =)

As the school year draws to close, I have finally come to realise how much we should appreciate our secondary school life. I, for one, did not have the privilege to do so until lately. Today might be the last time I see most of you ever again, and I'd like to thank the lot of you that made my stay in Sri Nobel a pleasant one. It certainly has changed the way I look at things and how I handle my problems.

On a side note, the ones who have well...you know. I don't blame you for doing so. These things happen everywhere and it just had to happen that you guys come after me. I won't be seeing you anymore, anyways so yeah. Besides, you guys sorta contributed to the school Sri Nobel is. Everyone's special in their own ways.

1st of all, I need to mention who I'd like to think is one of the best, if not the BEST principals of any single school out there, Mr. Chan. The respect we ALL have for him is tremendous. Mr. Chan can just walk past by your class and with the power of his two eyes can stop you and whatever nonsense you'd be doing. He truly is a highly respected principal.

The teachers,

Ms. Jaya, for her extensive and vast amount of knowledge.

Ms. Jo, for her casual-ness in teaching and stuff.

Mr. See, for his dedication and oh my, such seriousness in class. =)

Ms. Ng, for always knowing the right thing to say to each and every one of us.

Cikgu Munirah and Cikgu Niely, for their oh-so-funny sarcasm in their jokes.

Ms. Nalina, for never failing to have to call us out of our class for EVERY SINGLE lesson. =D

Ms. Chitra, for her extremely shrill voice and "Pandang depan!" when we play the fool.

Ms Anita, whose class always seem to be extremely fun. Strangely. =D

and last but not least,

Ms. Thana, for her awkward jokes but still, dedication in her teachings too!

The IceSky/Calvin Chew you saw in Sri Nobel wasn't exactly what I was before I entered the school. In a way, every single one of you actually had an impact on me. I guess you should know who you are. =)

Its been one hell of a year, filled with emotions, trouble, fun and so much more. I truly am goign to miss all of you. If I've missed any of your names above, please don't be mad at me. There are just so many of you who've made my 2 years in Sri Nobel such a fun one. Well, I guess there's nothing left to say but...

Construction Work!

My blog will be undergoing some reconstruction and maintenance work. Don't worry, nothing else will be affected...unless I actually decide to change my blogskin(which I think is happening SOON).

As you may have noticed, I've added a few buttons on the sidebar in which contains information about my various gaming codes/IDs and whatnot. Being the avid gamer I am, I cannot wait for challengers to arrive at my doorstep to beat the living daylights out of them. Yes, don't worry. I'm just all talk. =D

I found this to be pretty good as a topic for my next blog post. A person's identity on social networking sites.

One of my friends has their PM on MSN Messenger set as follows:

"What's up with people who don't put their real name on Facebook?"

Here's my take on this.

Ever since the birth of social networking sites, people have been devoting their accounts to their favourite anime characters or even celebrities. Its all basically part of the fun. But wait, the main point is...

Social networking sites are used for meeting friends and inviting others to know you have a big circle of friends. And who knows, maybe you might find out that a friend of yours knows this other friend of your who knows....well, you know how it goes. And if they don't see your REAL name, how would they know it was YOU? Right?

Well, it IS true to a certain extent. Some people prefer to go by a pseudonym, take IceSky as mine for instance. I use it most of the time as my nickname. But I still do add my real name, given the option too. If possible, I'd like Calvin "IceSky" Chew set as my name. I think that's much better.

Not naming your account as your own name is deemed pretty irritating by some. But then again, what is the search option for? Only ONE account is tied to ONE email, isn't it? There you go. Another topic for you to debate on. But I'll just end this one right here. =)

Oh, I've read the whole damn post. I can say at least 70%, if not 100% of it is directed to me. Which part of it isn't directed to me? YOU tell me. And its not YOUR theory of wine maturing. Other, more intelligent, legit scientists have discovered it way before we were born.

Me? Untrustable? I've kept millions of secrets that I've known for years, even to this day without letting them out unlike HIM. So don't accuse me of being UNTRUSTABLE unless you've REALLY done your homework, which in this case, you HAVEN'T!

My blog is open for public-viewing, so I guess you aren't directing THAT one to me, are you now? And oh, NOW you're saying I'm reading other people's mail and getting mad AFTER you post your references and stuff. Pfft. Come on, I'm as observant as you are, if not, better. I learn literature too, ok? I can interpret sentences and stuff. Referring every single thing to "you all" means? A few select people, right? English. I thought you were the highest scorer? Yeah, pretty stuck up now, aren't you?

Uh huh...wow, I take what belongs to others...hey, MY blog, MY decisions. You don't like it, sorry la! I came up with the "quote-before-every-post" even before I saw YOUR full-of-pink blog. Don't think that everything in this entire world is yours, and that you can claim ownership over a STYLE OF WRITING. Welcome to the world, where its full of piracy! What about those artists whom have worked their asses off singing just so their songs could be copied and downloaded for FREE? And you complain over a style of writing. Geez.

Oh yes, I never thought of it that way. Yeah, that's right. He's a person who can forgive and understand. He accepts his problems and strives to be better. He's actually a very nice boy now. So much different from last year. =)

You've said it, I can study, I'm smart, I'm a better person and you're jealous. That proves it. I think you remember my post previously about jealousy being the attitude which really is the downfall of a person here, no? Fine by me. If you'd let your emotions, especially JEALOUSY of all things take over you and destroy our once-decent-friendship, go ahead. I'll act as if our friendship had never existed.

I've tried reasoning with you before, I've compromised with you before. But it seems that it has NO EFFECT whatsoever. Beats me, then. I've stood beside you when you were at one of your lowest points and complained about one of your problems like the one in this post previously.

I came up with an idea for all of us to stop each other from doing stupid things. Believe me, everyone in the class was telling me it wouldn't work on an obstinate guy like you. Only I was the one who said that it was possible. But you don't see all this, do you?

What you see is jealousy. Me as your enemy. Someone who's out to kill you/defeat you. For one, I've never thought of that. I've always accepted you as a good friend. Not someone to take advantage of or someone to fight against with and compete with to become "King of the Hill". There's always a bigger fish, and it just so happens that I was that bigger fish. And you grow jealous. I really don't know what to say about you anymore. Its saddening to see you become this way, when we can talk, joke and laugh so happily just a week ago. SPM is drawing to a close, and I'm through with this.
